Chilton's letterbook copy of the merged orders, written by Mason
The pages of the book are 8 X 14. Orders were written in the book in sequential order, covering a six month period or so. When Chilton left Lee's headquarters before the Gettysburg Campaign he took the book with him back to Richmond.
