I bought this blanket for camping and when I received it, I was completely shocked at the bad quality of it. It is thin and the stitching along the edges of the blanket were so un-even that it makes it hard to fold up. I would not recommemd this blanket to anyone who wants to use it outdoors at all. |

I bought one of these for all the great qualities that wool provides. I ended up giving mine to a homeless woman in the rain though. My brief encounter with this blanket yielded some observations though. There is very little fluff or nap to this blanket. The OD fibers are very uniformly compressed/woven into a very sturdy, thin, felt-like material. It was obviously made to last! I think it more suitable for ground-cover than comfort. Maybe for working under the car in colder conditions? If you want a long-term emergency blanket, this is it. |
