Editorial Reviews for  'Georgia State History from a Christian Perspective (Complete Course) (State History from a Christian Perspective, Georgia)'

Product Description
This complete course for grades 3 through 12 is a 2-book set which includes the Georgia State History Student Booklet and the Master Lesson Plans and provides a complete course on Georgia State History from a Christian Perspective. The Georgia Student Booklet is the student textbook. Topics covered include history, geography, state symbols, weather, major cities, local and state government, industry, and agriculture. The Georgia Student Booklet includes text, maps, color state symbol pictures, 6 quizzes, 2 tests, an answer key, a study guide for the Georgia State Constitution, and a 10-page appendix with information about all fifty states. Students will remove the text and pictures from this consumable textbook and will transfer them into a project notebook which they will construct about the state of Georgia. The Master Lesson Plans give instructions for 30 lessons which can be completed in 6 weeks or expanded to a full year or more using instructions and additional project options listed at the end of each lesson. The difficulty level may be easily and individually adjusted, allowing you to teach all grade levels simultaneously. Students may make their project notebook in a 3-ring binder from scratch or may construct their notebook using A Beka Book's My State Notebook as their starting point (not included). Complete instructions for both options are given. This course provides materials for one teacher and one student. Instructions for obtaining text materials for additional students or A Beka's My State Notebook are included in the Master Lesson Plans. This course may be used simultaneously with the correlated course for age 3 through second grade, My State History Funbook Georgia (by the same author). Because the Master Lesson Plans are generic, students studying Georgia may be taught simultaneously with students using the courses for other states provided by the same author.
