Customer Reviews for  'Epson PowerLite 77c 2200 Lumen Multimedia Projector'

Great value projector
I have been using this projector now for more than 10 months for watching movies. Am generally pleased with bright image quality. However, I notice that red color has some refresh rate problem. Bright red colors appear smeared. Same on the TV too but on a small size it's not that noticeable. So, may be it's my DVD player problem. I owned Epson S4 1.5yrs before that and am generally pleased with Epson quality and reliability. They have recently been using newer long life bulb technology. I am giving it about half of what the specs say. Will run with this one until 1080p ones come below $1k.

Wonderful Projector
It is an excellent product for the price. A worthwhile purchases

Lighter, smaller than my previous Epson, and wider lens too
I have an Epson 7350 which I paid nearly $3000. for about 6 years ago and is twice the size and weight, and 6 times the cost, of the 77c I bought recently. The 7350 has a higher native resolution than the specs on the 77c, but side by side I could not tell the difference when the 77c was up-rezzing a notch or two. The 77c has a "wider throw" (zoom) lens than my previous projector, which means you can place it closer to the screen at a given size. Generally this means fewer problems with having to put the projector farther out in the audience where cables/cords can get in the way. It is plenty bright on the "low" setting even in a room with some lights on, and the "high" setting is available when needed (there's more fan noise on "high" but not too bad). Highly recommended, bright, small, reasonably priced technology. You may find a lower price somewhere else though.

Very nice for the price
Awesome projector for those on a tight budget. This projector upscales to 1080i and looks great at that resolution. The 2200 lumens are bright enough to see what's on the screen with the lights on. Great color. I'm completely happy with the product.

Great Product
I took this product out of the box and connected it to my laptop and started my presentation. Great product, great picture, easy to use, fast start up, no cool down time and very quiet.
