Americancivilwar.com Product Description
The Sennheiser MX75 Sport Line Stereo Headphones with Twist-to-Fit System combines a flashy neon green profile with a convenient twist-to-fit design that ensures stability while you're out jogging. The two earpieces contain rubber stoppers that press against the outer ear to further enhance stability, and a cable clip is included to hold the headphones to your clothes when they're not in use. Then, you can put them in the included vinyl carrying case for storage. The headphones themselves deliver low-end bass and drum clarity together with crispness in mid-range frequencies, and the overall sound quality is comparable with Sennheiser's studio headphones.

Customer Reviews for  'Sennheiser MX75 Twist-To-Fit In-Ear Stereo Sport Headphones'

Great workout earphones
Great workout earphones, stays put and withstands all the sweating I do! Only wish the cord was so squirmy.

Weak bass equals weak sound
Since I workout and do cardio six days/week, I rely on my music to keep me motivated. These headphone have very little bass which, for me, make for a weak sound. With other headphones (like the ones that came with my iPod) I normally have the volume at about 75%. In order to achieve the same volume with the Senheiser's I had to crank it up to 95-100%. While they did stay in my ears, I was constantly messing with the green cord (trying to straighten it out) which was very long and never lost it's springy, curled-up shape.

Good concept; needs work
These headphones bring a lot of improvements to the "bud" table: firmer fit, better bass, less ambient noise, etc. These are all big advancements over the iPod buds. But they also have their weaknesses: the plastic (green) pieces easily disengage (and get lost), the different length of the bud wires (one side is about a foot longer than the other) is not useful and makes wrapping the wires (i.e. when storing) difficult, and the wires themselves twist and knot easily (unlike iPod bud wires).

So, I like the concept -- but Sennheiser really needs to do something about the "fallaway" plastic problem, since that renders the headphones useless. (There is a set of extras that come with, but you really need about half a dozen of each if you want these phones to last a while -- they come off that easily.) And, it would help if they followed the iPod path of same length headphone wires and wires that don't always tangle -- since this can make the headphones more problem than they're worth.

Great Sound...Great Fit
I was a bit skeptical when I ordered these headphones because of some of the negative reviews. I was buying them to replace a pair I had had for a couple of years to use with my ipod. The pair I was replacing I had purchased to replace the very basic headphones provided with my ipod. I was satisfied with them until I received the Sennheiser pair and I realized how well designed the Sennheisers are. It was difficult for me to picture how they worked by looking at the picture but once they arrived and I put them in my ears it was obvious. They fit very snugly and stay put well. They also have what I would consider great sound. I'm sure there are headphones out there that have better sound, but they also cost much more. I also like the cord on these headphones. The way they coil and the fact that they have a clip to attach to your shirt keeps the headphones in place wonderfully. My previous pair was always getting wrapped around things and yanking the headphones out of my ears. Overall, I think the Sennheisers are a good buy.

HeadPhones
This was a great product for the money. The sound quality is just as good the headphones that came with my MP3 player if not better. Great price for a great product.
