If you wish to add sound to your photo presentation, follow the manufacturers instructions, When copying with an SLR camera, use an 80mm 120mm zoom lens and set the diaphragm at F11 or smaller for sharper pictures. Create digital images, movies or copies of your 35mm slides with your digital camera, camcorder, movie camera or 35mm SLR. This copier is designed to work with any camera and lens combination (as long as your camera allows threaded devices to be attached). A Real Slide Saver |
I have used this product to save hundreds of slides I have from the 60s. I've been able to turn them in to digital files and even redevelop them in Photoshop thanks to this little device.
Just make sure you have a nice white, diffuse light source in to which you can point your camera and you'll get as much as you can from each slide. From there on you're just loading pictures from camera to computer as always. |

It works and is easy to use. |

Have not played with the product enough to make a review. It appears to work and make good pictures. If you're plans for a slide is a large picture then it would probably be better to have the slide copied by professinals. But if it is for a slide show and you will copy many slides, I think this is a great tool. It would probably cost 75 cents to a dollar or more per slide for a professional job, so this saves a few bucks. I have no experience with other copiers so I can't compare this with other products. |
