Nice looking and great sound |
I was looking for a small pair of powered speakers for my daughters room that would blend in well with her pink decor. She was previously using a full size boom box that has CD, Tape, and Radio, but most of the time she likes to listen to her CD's at night and often gets up to change them thus cutting into her sleep.
My plan was to fill her SanDisk Sansa e250 2 GB MP3 Player with microSD Expansion Slot (Black) with hours and hours of her favorite music. Also, I would no longer have to burn CD's of her favorite music downloads. She also enjoys listening to Delilah from time to time, and since the Sansa has FM as well, my problem was solved.
These little speakers have a clear, beautiful sound to them.
I would recommend these speakers if you are looking for quality computer speakers, or powered speakers to play music from your Mp3 player. |

Made my Macbook experience perfect |

These speakers are just a gem, I didn't expect them to have such good sound. They are also pretty loud, you can here them in my entire dorm room. I highly recommend them, plus they weren't that expensive. |

Great sound for such small speakers |
|
We bought these speakers to use with our i-pod. The sound is great and we use it for our living room stereo system. I like the fact that they are white which matches the i-pod and our bookshelves. I have the same speakers (few years older & silver) on my Mac at work. Great bass and definition. These are the best speakers for the size and money. |

Great Sound |
|
These little speakers have great sound. I use them with my laptop to listen to iTunes, and you would think I had a big stereo system! I've had them for about a year now, and have never had any problems at all. |

Serious flaws, I threw them out |
I bought these speakers because they looked cool. I figured all small PC speakers would sound pretty much the same anyway, so they won me over in the cool department. And they did sound pretty nice until I turned up the volume to 3/4.
These speakers fail in the most basic areas.
1. When the volume is turned up they squeal, regardless of the orientation of the speakers. This must be an internal flaw with the circuitry.
2. You cannot adjust the volume with one hand. The knob is too smooth and too tight to grip so you have to hold the speaker with one hand to get a good grip on the knob to turn it.
OK, so I told myself I must have gotten a dud, it happens. These speakers could never have passed JBL quality control and actually been mass produced this way, could they? Then one day I came across a co-worker who had a set of these at her workstation. I asked how she liked them and she told me the same things I just told you.
As I am reading all these glowing reviews I am thinking "OMG people are going to buy these speakers" so I felt compelled to share my experiences to warn potential buyers as I wish I had been warned. My speakers did not make it back from vacation, they are somewhere in a Mexico landfill. |
