Don't try to reload the Maps!! |
I went to reload my maps on the unit and now I'm locked out!!
The unit directs me to [...]
However, that site is not a registration site for the NVM-4050 maps!! No... its a site to sell you RDS for entirely different Sanyo units!! How do I resiter this thing?? Can't call Sanyo because they aren't open on the weekends... Can't call Navteq because they aren't open on the weekends!! Don't buy this unit... |

Great GPS Navigator |
Nice GPS Navigator, just need little more improvements. Maps are kind of Old and need update. there is no source given to update maps online other then CD comes with it.
Deliver was kind of slow but ok.
I would recommend this Navigator. for this price its a very good buy.

Not too bad |
The first product shipped did not work at all. Americancivilwar customer service immediately send me a replacement, which I received just before our trip to LA. Amazing speed of service, while Sanyo never responded to my inquiry about the product not starting up. Sanyo customer service, as mentioned by others is useless.
The good thing about this product is by being able to download music, which saves you from carrying lots of CDs.
I wish the product was also usable in the Europe, but in return, you have the Hawaii, Alaska and P.R map, so all in all, it was a good deal. |

Love it great GPS |
I got this GPS from Frys on sale $129. This is my third GPS and I love it.
GPS works fast and re-route fast. All function is easy and friendly to use it. Paired easy with my cellphone sony erickson p1i no problem. Even the screen is 4" but the map size is not as good as mio. Overall I love it. |
