They don't squirt -- munchkin ones much better |
|
These are very difficult for an adult to squeeze, and therefore impossible for a baby. This means they can't squirt them and you can't empty the water out of them. They don't work very well as snap beads either. Go with the Munchkin squirt toys, they are very soft and easy to squirt (and teethe on). |

Just don't use them in the water! |

I haven't read all the other reviews, but from what I can see, most people feel the same way I do about these. My baby likes to chew on these and play with them outside of the tub. I have some that have never been in the water and those she plays with along with her other toys. The one's in the tub never quite empty completely and I can only imagine what's growing inside! Also, the plastic is VERY hard. Too hard for a small child to fill with water and use as a squirting toy. So, while these are colorful and fun, I'll take two stars away due to the poor design. |

worst design ever |

These things are very poorly designed. They each have a hole where water gets in, but won't come out. Then the water inside turns into mildew. My daughter is teething and likes to chew and suck on toys; in this case, she sucks the mildewy water right out of the hole. Horrible. |

Fun, for a time |

My kids, age 4 and 9 months, both enjoy playing with these. They're great colors, and the little bag keeps them all together. My one complaint though, is that it's really hard to get all of the water out of the creatures. Being that they are bath toys, I assumed they wouldn't hold water (re: MOLD) like they do. They are made of a very hard plastic, and it's hard to squeeze all of the water out of them during clean up. And squeezing some of them permanently distorts their shape. I imagine we'll be tossing them soon, as there's no way to keep the insides from molding--and who whats that in the tub with their kiddos? |
