Great toy |
We bought this for our daughter's first birthday. She loves to open and close the doors and especially loves the cordless phone. We gave her some tupperware and play food to stock it. I would definitely recommend the play food and dishes to go with this.
It's small, but it fits nicely in our kitchen. We wanted our daughter to be close by while we're cooking, cleaning, etc. |

excellent buy |

looked at every toy set made before deciding on this one. I am very pleased with the durability, easy set up and general look of this kitchen. My two year plays with it daily. She and I both love that she can use every inch of it as it is just her height. We also take it out side for water play, in addition to washing the dishes, she paints it and washes it. Probably better for the young toddler set 1-3 year olds as it is on the small size. |

wouldn't buy it again |
The doors on the toy (the oven and dishwasher ones specially) get stuck a bit and require extra force to open. Further, the stickers are peeling off on the edges, and this is for the brand new toy rather than after use. The toy is not that exciting (both looks and capabilities), and reading the more enthusiastic reviews I had higher expectations. I wouldn't buy it again if I had the choice.

The Best Kitchen for Toddlers that play hard! |
|
This is the third, and last kitchen, for our toddler. The first was one that was handed down - plenty durable until she got it. The second one was also handed down, but was flimsy from the get go. I really had wanted to get a fun, noisy, character kitchen, but I knew from watching her play that this would be the one for her. She likes characters as much as the next kid, but she likes realistic pretend even more. This kitchen is great because it has a little fridge, microwave, diswasher, oven, stovetop, sink, even a phone. She is a very busy toddler and often doesn't play with anything too specific for long, this being the exception. She spends hours every day in her kitchen. Sometimes she will just run into the kitchen (where I keep her little version) and "wash" her hands in the pretend sink, then run out! It's so cute! It also has plenty of storage for all her play food and accessories. Someone else mentioned it is short, this is true. My daughter is fairly tall and her head comes just over the top of the fridge. This doesn't bother her at all though. Her other kitchens were taller before this, but this one frustrates her a LOT less because it is durable and she can reach everything. Someone else complained about the doors, I will say the lower doors that open "up" are sticky, and hopefully they will give way easier as she plays with them. I have to really nudge to get them, as does she, but she is able to open them with effort. It is nowhere near as frustrating as having the doors fall off everytime she touches them like with many other sets. I really think this kitchen is the best for it's price because it is just so durable, so cute, and fits so nice in our small home. Our house is very small (under 1,000 sq. feet) so size was also a big factor in choosing a kitchen for our daughter. We have a fairly average size fridge and this fits nicely alongside it, sitcking out less than a foot on one end with it's back to the fridge's side. I love that the back is flat because it's easier to keep it back out of the way. I highly recommend this kitchen for any toddler, especially those who play hard or have limited space! I just don't agree at all with the negative reviews on this, it's perfect! |
