Stimulates the imagination |
Got these dolls for my granddaughter's 4th birthday. How can two floppy-armed, floppy-legged, hard-torso dolls be any fun? I have been amazed! Her imagination with them is just like seen in the Toy Story movies. The pull-string phrases are now all memorized, and I hear them at the most laughable times.
Quality is good enough. After all, they are meant to be just like the ones in the movie, and they are. The pull-string is nothing like that from my childhood, i.e. mine were mechanical, had tension that wound something up, and lasted a long time. Instead, the string has no tension and simply activates a battery operated device. And that brings me to my only real complaint. Seems as if every battery operated toy now comes with three AG13 button batteries. They cost $3 each, or in some places you can get a six pack for $12. They wear out too fast and are not rechargeable. I'd prefer two rechargeable AAA any day.
But, my granddaughter loves the dolls, and that's what matters. |

The Toy Story Woody and Jessie pull string combo items are great. Delivery was ontime. My kids are pleased w/them. 1 small issue is that Woody's hat doesn't stay on well and can be lost easily. The voice for the dolls is acceptable but not the real character voices. As long as my kids are happy, I'm happy. |

Great Buy for Obsessed Son |
TOY PULLSTRING JESSIE & WOODY VALUE PACK
This is a great Buy. I understand the reasoning behind the toys not saying the same dialogue as the movie. My son would become bored with them and there are trademark issues I'm sure as well. Beyond this I gave the toy a 5. I love them and so does my 4 year old Toy Story obsessed son. |

the pull strings have definately come a long way since I was a kid! We wish the voice was the same as the one used on the movie but they are enjoyed just as much! |
