Terrible! |

I thought this would be similar to the original Callanetics, with some cardio elements added in. What I got was two chicks going from one exercise to another without any warning, and about as different from the original version as one could get. Callan explained the move, then did it - she never gave one-half beat of warning before going into a new form. Unfortunately I bought both new videos, and they are sitting unused on my shelf. So now, back to Callan - can't stand the new hosts. The original remains the best. |

Results, Results, Results... |
Can't say that I LOVE doing the workout. It's really the results
that motivate me...the QUICK results.
I've done 10 in 10 and some Super Callanetics but this is probably my favorite. I just love the shape of my muscles from this...very long, lean, and feminine - especially the thighs.
An added bonus is the almost complete elimination of cellulite:).
I'm realizing lately though that I need cardio to burn the fat or the definition will not show from these exercises...definitely not an all in one.
So I do this workout 3x's a week (definitely cannot go longer than 3 days without it or you'll notice that your body will not look as 'lifted' and pulled in) and Turbo Jam or Tae Bo 5 to 6 times a week.
I don't really enjoy weights and this is a great substitute...though I do wish there was more work for the arms...haven't tried the 1 pound weights with it though so perhaps that changes things. |

recently, because of aging, i am 52 and had a lot of problems with menopause and all that, i tried here and there, from bikram yoga and TTapp, to name a few, some other fitness programm to help resolve all those problems and among them, sagging of my figure, the arms, mostly.Classic callanetis did not help with the sagging of my arms and with aging, it stressed me to practice it whereas while younger, it did not have this detrimental effect. Since then, i was a callanetics devotee, the classic callanetics and the super callanetics. except for the beautifull blond lady from Australia, gifted with a very tood heard, Sandra Anna, that teach the programm on the dvd and with whom i had the great pleasure and privilege to exchange by email, i was turned back by the relation i had, or tried in vain to have with some other people of the callanetics management program and that alone made me postpone the buying and triyng of this new callanetic programm. Finally, i cast away my susceptibility, or broken heart, call it as you will but it have the same effect on me and on many other people, that is, i think, why there is not to much people revewing this programm, and i give it a try, an honest try and frankly, i recommend to you all do to as i did and try this callanetic evolution programm. For the first time in months of costly visits, my osteopath treated equaly the two sides of my body, because i became kind of lupsided with the passing of time, surprisingly, i found out, just after 3 week of practice of callanetics evolution, 3 times a week, that my arms have reshaped as never before, i feel so good after having done this programm that included even more so than the classic callanetics, breathing during all the program. the teacher of the callanetics evolution programm stress that breathing is very important. Also, mind you, as in the classic callanetics, you just need to practice the callanetics evolution once or twice a week, when you acheive your goal! i took my measurements, as TTapp teach it, just recently and found out that my figure, all over, is even better than after practicing TTapp after one month. Mind you, i took the time to practice intensively bikram yoga and measure, then; after an equal amount of time, i practice TTapp and measure and then, finally, practice classic callanetics and measure and from those 3 tests, ttapp was the bast but now, callanetics evolution surpass TTapp!!!! more stretching here and there, in the callanetics evolution makes it very peasant to practice and makes the programm work even better and faster than the classic callanetics, callanetics evolution is adapted to our time in all the way and finally, to repeat myself, buy it and truy it. i am sure you will bless me forever in your prayers if you listen to me and practice the callanetics evolution programm. another things, this callanetics evolution programm is easy to learn, contrary to what other revewers have said, and is the exact updated programm, like the classic callanetics. I mean that the callanetics evolution follow, mostly, the classic callanetics. you just have to practice it with the dvd a couple of time and then; to take note of the change of exercices here and there between the classic and the evolution, and you can practice by your own the new callanetics evolution programm, without the dvd, ok the stomach exercices is at the end of the callanetics evolution programm whereas in the classic callanetics, it is at the beginning, some minor changes are here and there but you learn fast. By amy own, it takes me about 45 minutes to complete the callanetics evolution programm, very convenient, no need to wear running shoes of all that, very handy and practical. This is a nice addition to the Callanetics Collection. Although not as challenging as SuperCallanetics, I find that I enjoy it in between, on days when I don't need to push myself so hard. |
