Great Product, definately approve |
This series is certainly, in my opinion, a staple in anyone's collection. And this collection is certainly the way to own it.
The discs in this collection are the same discs that are packaged in Outlaw Star - Perfect Collection Boxed Set repackaged into one box and cheaper.
Defiantly a good buy. |

Cowboy Bebop??? |
Okay, I held off buying this for years cause I was afraid it would be too much like Cowboy Bebop. SO, I eventually bought it in this complete box set. I stuck DVD one in, starting watching the first episode, and I was noticing some very quick similarities and began knee-jerking... I actually started to look for the similarities instead of enjoying the anime. The first episode is where almost all the similarities end, so this anime is truly its own creation and I suggest to leave it at that, cause its actually a very fun anime and a good watch as well.
As far as a re-watch, I re-watched it shortly after I finished it, its good the second time around as well.

A great series you probably will have trouble finding this in any store I know the last time I did see the series was in a best buy 4-5 years ago. Had to buy it once I found it on here. |

uninspired story |
The start of this anime was good.
The main character, Jean Star wind has no charisma and he is boring to watch when he's the leader.
And whenever a cool character comes in they decide to kill them off.
When Hilda died the whole show turned sour for me and it just all went down the drain.
When the pirate dude died it was sort of a let down.
Sure when they died they made it a emotional moment, but in reality it kind of is stupid...
This show could have been much better, but it wasn't meant to be. |

Almost three stars instead of four. |

I remember first watching this on cartoon network and I thought it was amazing. However; after watching it two more times after purchasing it, I was far less impressed. I have to say that the shows story is compelling, but the way that it is carried out leaves much to be desired. Also, there is not a time in this show where I didnt feel like I was watching a generic version of Cowboy Bebop with aspects of Tenchi Muyo thrown in. I would recommend this to anyone just getting started with anime; or anyone looking to expand their anime collection. Again, not an amazing anime, but it definitely is worth seeing at least once. |
