I found this album soon after my daughter was born. I was looking for a good recording of Rozhinkes Mit Mandlen, and listened to clips from several different cd's. As soon as I heard this rendition, I knew I could stop looking. These are beautifully unaffected presentations of classic songs. They neither dress up nor dumb down the material. Rather, the melodies and warm, smooth voice take center stage. Adults can take pleasure in this cd even after repeated plays, and my baby was soothed every time! |
