The Fisher Matte Clack Bullet Space Pen with Clip writes at any angle upside down underwater and in harsh temperature conditions (hot and cold). When closed this pen slightly resembles a long bullet and it is this design that has been exhibited for a number of years by New York's Museum of Modern Art as an outstanding example of contemporary industrial design. Each Fisher Bullet Space pen comes in an attractive gift box with a small pamphlet that provides the interesting history of the Fisher Space Pen. I've always searched for a pen that I would love to use and carry around, I've finally found it. Its small enough to fit in my pocket, especially when using the clip. Its comfortable to use with or with the cap for added length and the ink flow is perfect for me. I would recommend this pen to anyone who wants a compact pen to take any and everywhere with them. |

Small, comfortable, reliable and practical |
I've had my Fisher bullet-style space pen (matte black) for about a month now and it's been great thus far. It's 3 3/4" collapsed, 5 1/4" provoked, and feels like any normal ballpoint despite its small collapsed size. The ink flows smoothly and the writing experience is somewhere between that of a cheap ballpoint and luxurious fountain pen. The top is held on by a rubberized gasket and the pen has the heft of an empty rifle cartridge.
I wear it in pocketed button-down shirts and love its unobtrusiveness. It's also tough enough to be clipped in your back pocket and sat on. It can also be clipped onto a T-shirt or into athletic shorts. Unlike other users I have not had trouble with the clip coming loose, but imagine that could be remedied with super glue if necessary.
Life is just a little easier when you've always got a good pen. |

The pen writes great. one interesting thing is that when the pen is closed it only measures have the length of a normal one. Also the clip to hold the pen to a shirt or pocket is not exactly fixed. It is a nice pen, perfect for a pocket book or in a glove compartmen. |

I got this pen for my husband and he loves it! He works outside so he is always having to write notes down at weird angles. He seldom has a flat surface on which to write, and b/c of this pen, that is no longer a problem. He hasn't had to use it in the rain yet, but he is looking forward to seeing how well it works then too! |

This pen is great! I love the way it feels and the way it writes. Though it's small enough to fit nearly anywhere without bulk, it becomes a full-sized pen when you're ready to write with it. I don't have to worry about it exploding if I leave it in a hot car, or not working right away if I leave it in a frozen car. It's very reliable, and I have not experienced the cap getting stuck like some others have mentioned. Definitely buy from Americancivilwar though, it's pricier everywhere else I've looked (I bought from Staples before seeing it on Americancivilwar). |
