Enjoy high-caliber tour performance with breakthrough speed and minimal distance loss with TaylorMade's Burner TP golf balls. They're enhanced by a proprietary aerodynamic technology called Low Drag Performance, which promotes improved distance on the most common types of off-center driver hits. Offering an integrated approach, LDP technology combines every element that makes up the ball's surface--the size and depth of the dimples, the angles of their edges and the symmetry in which they're laid out. The Burner TP has a 342-dimple configuration that limits drag and optimizes launch conditions for maximum carry and distance. The balls also feature an energetic V-Core (Velocity Core) for ultra-fast velocity, an HPF 1000 mantle that works in conjunction with the V-Core to ramp up speed and distance, and a tour-level Iothane 56 cover combines the speed of ionomer with the spin and feel of urethane to promote extraordinary iron-spin and shear-resistance.

Good mid-priced balls |
|
These are great for average golfers without the $45 price tag. They have good distance and grab greens very well for the price. I use these and the Nike Platinum. I give the edge to the Nike's, but they usually cost more so I use more of these for budget reasons. All in all a very good ball and would recommend to anyone! |

I might be crazy, but looking for support |
|
I use both the LDP black and the Burner TP. I don't find much different for the most part. The LDP black feels softerof the tee, and might have a little more carry; but around the green they are the same. The prices are 50%difference for not much more. What is the difference if you are 140 yds or 155 yds in? i might not even be that. Would love to here another opinion. I am an 8-11 handicap, and 1 ball doesn't usually make the round. The LDP Black is a much softer feel off the tee then the old TM Black, but not much difference in distance. I like the Burner TP,so I think it might be one of the best buys on the market. |
