i bought this for my 10 year old nephew's birthday and he loves it. Now his younger brother wants one too and sadly they seem to be gone from Americancivilwar. I don't know much about fishing, but from what my nephew tells me this travel pack works great. |

False advertisement |

I purchased this item as a gift. But unfortunately when I received it, it did not arrive with any spool of fishing line. The product description states that it will arrive with one spool of fishing line and a extra 110yd spool, but I received neither. I emailed the seller which was not amazon, which surprised me, and they simply responded telling me that I should just return the item to them. I thought it was a great gift just don't expect to receive any fishing line at all. |

It works great for a backup rod on my small fishing boat. I have not been able to use it but liked the action of the rod I am sure it will work fine for lake fishing. |
