A great choice for the sporting gentleman, the Invicta Sub Diver BR stainless steel watch offers water resistance to 100 meters--suitable for water sports and light scuba diving. The large, round watch case and bracelet band are made from surgical grade 316L stainless steel, and the case is topped by a red-and-dark blue unidirectional rotating bezel with elapsed time markings and coin-edge detailing. The black dial offers Tritnite luminous dotted markers and oversized hands (with seconds hand) as well as small minute indexes and a date window at 3 o'clock. Other features include Swiss quartz movement, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and a fold-over safety clasp. Tritnite is a luminous material with an extended glow exclusively developed by Invicta in Switzerland and added to their timepiece hands and markers. When exposed to regular daylight, it will hold its glow for about 20 hours. About Invicta Latin for "invincible," Invicta was founded in La Chaux-de-fonds, Switzerland in 1837 by Raphael Picard, who believed that fine Swiss timepieces could be offered at modest prices. For more than a century, the company has created distinctive manual and automatic-winding pieces. In 1991, descendants of the Picard family reaffirmed the company's founding principle, and the invigorated Invicta has been growing ever since with one of the most widely diverse collections of precise Swiss timepieces on the market. |

Great watch for the value |
The watch comes with a nice backpack from a promo. Works great and feels solid. Only complain I have is after adjusting the time/date it was very hard to tighten the adjustment screw back. Invicta mentioned that the watch will not be water-tight if this is not done correctly; however, they made it very hard to screw it back.
Other than that I love this watch. |

OK, but qustionable build quality |
I really like the style and quality of Invicta watches, especially the diver style ones. I own two Invicta watches, this one and a 4607. I enjoy snorkelling and swimming with my watches, and especially with those that claim 100m.water resistance or more.
I took it along with me on my most recent trip down south to Cuba. Eager to discover the local reefs I promptly put on my sub diver watch, grabbed my fins, mask and snorkel and headed for the beach. While snorkelling I occasionally glance at my watch to check the time, and to my horror I discover the bezel has fallen off! Keeping in mind this is a 3 month old watch I can't believe it, but yes the sub-divers bezel is now part of the Cuban reef in Santa Maria...it would appear that the bezel was simply glued on and warm sea water was enough to dislodge the bezel from its mount.
The watch is now back with Invicta for warranty repairs...sigh. Let's hope it doesn't take too long for a new bezel. I'm not sure I'll be wearing it again in the water for obvious reasons.

Great Watch |
|
This watch replaced a more expensive Seiko. I actually prefer this watch much more than I ever did my Seiko. The Invicta is a great looking, masculine, and easy to read watch that looks far more expensive than its real cost. This watch feels great and is secure on my wrist. The best thing I like about the Invicta is its ability to look great with no matter what I wear - from shorts to casual dress. You'll be very pleased with this well made watch! |

good purchase |
|
Just got this watch. Out of the box it looks great - and it is very solid. Only having this for two days, I must say I like it a lot. It is definietly more of a statement than my old Seiko. I will update later once I have had it for a while, but at this time the watch gets 5 stars for looks, working conditon and price (paid $50.00 at Americancivilwar). |

Handsome watch with high reliability rating |
|
My new Invita Sub-Diver arrived at work and it immediately created a great deal of comments from admirers. For the price, you just can't beat the features this watch has. It looks every bit as cool as some watches well beyond the $300+ price range. While it is substantial in size, it doesn't weigh a ton. I am lucky enough to have a co-worker with a watch repair kit. He easily removed several links to compensate for my relatively small wrist and the watch sits perfectly. Invicta produces some beautiful timepieces! |
