I bought these darts several weeks ago, and have some good and bad comments thus far:
Good:
1. The weight of the dart is very nice, and well centered. If you are using a 23 gram set or lighter, I think you will really notice a difference if your accuracy.
2. The shaft that holds the flights (wings) is made of composite material and is very sturdy. The flights hole very securely, and you won't see your parts break like you will on cheaper (plastic) models.
Bad:
1. The package the darts come in does not allow for easy re-loading, so you can't use it as a carrying case...You'll have to get one seperately if you don't already have one.
2. The grip on the shaft is rather slim, and it has taken me quite a while to go from a thicker grip to this one.
Bottom line is that viper is selling a quality product with these darts. If you already shoot a slim grip style dart like this, you will like what these have to offer. The weight and center of gravity will give you better shots, and the sturdy design will be less costly (no buying replacement parts) and less annoying (not having to put the flights back in every other shot) than a cheaper brand. |
