Americancivilwar told me they would pull this product off the shelf! |
|
I bought 2 of these for my twins. One bike worked, the other not at all. Americancivilwar replaced it nicely. The one I received in exchanged did not work either! Then Americancivilwar told me they would not give me a 3rd one as they needed to invesigate the product. They told me to ship it back. I did; then was told I would not receive ANY refund for the product as it was a few days over the 2 month guarantee. Now I see it still advertised here....good luck is all I can tell you. Americancivilwar, I thought, was a great and fair company to deal with...I will never order from them again. The Razor was defective, but Americancivilwar did not give me any compensation (like a partial refund, even)even after they told me to return it. |

Awesome Bike!! |
|
This bike is very cool! It is twenty inches tall and is three feet long but goes fast! I have a dirt bike that goes fifty M.P.H. This bike goes fifteen M.P.H. It is easy for me to pop a wheely on this pocket rocket. Don't get a real pocket rocket, they cost a lot of money and go very fast. I recomend this bike for ten and older. |

Great for $150 |
Hello...
I purchased this for my 5 and 3 year olds, and their friends. I know it says 13 and up, or whatever, but oh well.
It is really about the perfect size for my 3 year old, proportionately. He just pushes it around or drags his feet, though. My 5 year old can ride it, but only for about 10-20 feet at a time. One of their friends, at 8, is starting to get the hang of it, quite well. A couple 11-13 year olds rode it and really liked it.
Aside from that, my friends and I have probably gotten more use out of it than the kids. I would recommend speed bumps to any parent.
Hehehe...
It says a weight limit, but I've well pushed it. My dad, at 190, has ridden it a couple times and a friend, who is quite large, has ridden it.
The biggest downfalls are that it is quite small and underpowered. Even an 8 year old has knees out. A person could probably fit another set of pegs further back and sit more naturally. It does get slow pretty quickly, if you're going up hills, but the battery lasts surprisingly long.

A Great Bike For Us Kids! |
I received the bike for Christmas two years ago. I have to say, I LOVE IT. I recommend this for someone age Nine and up. Maybe Eight. Since this is a pocket bike. It's motorized. This would be a bad idea for a kid who can't ride on a two wheeler bike. Training wheels aren't able to be attached. This is a fast bike too. It goes 15 MPH. A young kid around the age of 5 can't handle a fall at a speed in that range. I'm twelve and I've taken some nasty falls on it. Don't let that make you say "This thing is too dangerous".
This bike was designed to be ridden on pavement. That's how you can go 15 MPH. I don't have pavement where I live so I am forced to ride it in my backyard. It still runs well on grass, gravel and rough surfaces.
This bike is easy to make portable. It weighs about forty five pound and can be put inside of a car trunk. I do that sometimes. To ride it on pavement to really get the adrenaline pumping.
Inside the box, the bike comes with the bike (Of course). And with the front fender. It needs to be put on before riding. I think now it comes with that assembled already. It comes with decals too. It has a charger and it needs to be charged twenty four hours before use. The handlebars must be fixed before too. Move them to any position that you like and tighten them. |
