I bought one of these, but it came with no directions, no photo of it installed and my husband and I are mystified about how to use the darn thing. HELP!!!!!!!! |

bike mirror |
|
I like the mirror a lot. It secures firmly to my eyeglasses. It is easily adjustable in all directions. The sleeves/hinges require a good amount of pressure to adjust. The mirror stays where put, even while riding over rough surfaces. The large square mirror provides a good view to the rear. I find that the mirror mildly obstructs forward vision, but I expect it to be less annoying as I get used to it. |

best bike mirror I've used |
I have tried other bicycle mirrors previously, but could never get the mirror quite where I wanted it. And in trying to position it on my sunglasses, I broke the mount on the last one I owned.
The take a look was highly recommended on the bike forums so I tried it and love it. The image in the mirror is crisp and sharp. The mirror and mount are extremely flexible in that the mirror can be tilted side-to-side and up and down. You can also position the mirror farther from your eyes than other mirrors I've tried - which seems less distracting.
This purchase was a gift for a fellow biker, who loves it as much as I do! |

Works well |
Got tired of the mirrors on the handlebars bouncing around and getting out of alignment.
Mounted this one to the helmet, i.e. visor. Can bounce a little, but, always stays in alignment.
Yes, you are half way to geekdom with it, but, it works. If you have it mounted on the left, try closing the right eye before looking at it. Helps to get used to it. |

Can be used on the right side |
|
I live in Japan, thus must wear it on the right side. The mirror is not designed to go on the right side, but will work as it is highly adjustable. I also purchased a helmet mounted mirror which produced much more vibration. The Bike Peddler mirror is much more stable, and easier to adjust for proper viewing. I have very thin frames and this mirror held just fine. Neither mirror works well with a backpack, unless the backpack is small and you ride in an upright position. I would recommend this mirror to anyone. |
