Nice little product, not worth the extra money over the 9LED light |

I purchased this item along with the similar 9 LED flashlight selling for less than half. With the two flashlights side by side in total darkness, I can barely see much of a difference in brightness. Sure this has 28 LED's but the LED's on this unit are smaller than the 9 on the smaller flashlight. The head on this is rather big and awkward as well. Money aside, I like the 9 LED version better for its sleek barrel and lighter weight. |

DANGER: Contains LEAD! |
This flashlight contains LEAD that the printed warning on the package claims will get on you with normal use. AMAZON SHOULD STOP SELLING THIS!
The Warning reads:

Normal everyday use of this product is likely to expose the user to dust and microscopic particles containing lead and other chemicals known in the State Of California to cause cancer, birth defects, and other reproductive harm. Great Small Light, But for Real Light Buy the 100 LED Version |

Look for the 100 LED flashlight here on Americancivilwar. Yes, it is larger and it costs more, but you won't regret it. Read my review before buying the 100 LED flashlight. But if you don't need very much light and cost is a primary consideration, this 28 LED version is marginally adequate. I've noticed problems at times with flikering light and that is because the terminals inside the light tarnish making for an intermittent situation that is rectified by rotating the battery compartment while pressing it against the LED bulb assembly. And rotate the batteries while inserted to clean the surfaces. It doesn't happen often. |
