Minn Kota Camo 44T Waterfowl Edition... Reliable Minn Kota power designed to keep you in the action when the shooting starts. 44 lbs. of powerful thrust gives you swift, silent propulsion through weeds, reeds, cattails and more. Built tough to handle the elements and clad in camo for the ultimate in concealment. Details: Cool, quiet power. Minn Kota's larger brushes, windings and commutators generate less heat, less noise and run cooler -- extending motor life and conserving battery power. You get greater sustained thrust and more time on the water. A unique bearing system produces low rpms / high torque to cut down on fish-spooking noise -- so quiet they'll never hear you coming; Weedless Wedge prop, the only prop that is truly 100% weedless. Patented, swept-back design pushes weeds away, allowing you to effortlessly pass through at any speed, conserving your valuable battery power; Nearly indestructible composite shaft, tested to be three times the strength of steel. Virtually indestructible, it flexes on impact and then returns to its original position. Will not kink, break, rust or corrode... guaranteed for life! Minn Kota Maximizer technology works to provide up to five times longer run time on a single charge. It controls the draw of power at variable speeds to conserve battery power and extend run time; 5 forward, 3 reverse speeds; Tilt Twist Tiller handle provides the natural comfort and convenience of an outboard tiller handle. Tilts to multiple positions; |

Very pleased |
|
This trolling motor worked very nice on its first outing. Was used on a pelican 1200. It was used on a two day float trip down the river. We fished all day using the motor on and off. The boat was loaded with one person, loaded cooler, fishing supplies, tent, and camping gear. Also was towing a duck decoy container with more supplies. This thing will get a lot of use this duck hunting season. It also took a beating on the rock's and still preformed very well, very few battle scars. |

Decent product |
This is my third Minn Kota, I used the first for 3 years without problem, until I left it laying on a river bank and lost it. The second One I bought was an Endura 30 pound thrust. No where near the quality, vibrated like crazy right out of the box. I should have taken it back, but never did. About the 3rd time I used it I hit a submerged log and it came off the canoe I was using it in and went completely under the water. It worked fine once I got it out of the water, but on the next trip it died. I then found out that the two year warranty does not include complete submersion. I also know now, that if it gets submerged, to turn it upside down and let it drain for a few days before running it again, and it should be ok.
So, I am on my third one, as there really aren't many options out there. The waterfowl addition is more like the first motor I had and doesn't vibrate like the last one. I think it will be fine for years to come if I don't lose it or drown it.

Great performing! Better thurst/shaft than others! |
|
I purchased the MinnKota waterfowl edition trolling motor and have enjoyed the heck out of it on numerous fishing trips since. I chose it because it has a better thrust level than comparably priced units by MinnKota. Maybe it's because a lot of people wouldn't buy the camo motor, but it's great. I also hunt so it will be used that way as well. |
