Bushnell Speed Gun |

Great product, GREAT price (better then any local Sports Store). Gun works well, kids can use it and LOVE it. |

Great Product |
|
I bought this Speed Gun several weeks ago and have been pleased with it's ease of use and durability. The gun is simple to use, just turn it on, hold the trigger and you get your readings. I have dropped the gun a couple of times and the durable construction saved the gun. The only issue is that it appears the readings are a couple of miles per hour low, however, the readings are consistent so making the speed adjustment is easy. I have been using the gun to gauge the speed of my 9-year olds pitches and it has worked fine. |

Good deal |
|
Had seen this product in use so bought one for little league use. It works pretty good if you have the right angle. Best used from a scorekeeper's box with angle directly behind catcher shooting out toward pitcher. Or just to the left or right of catcher. If your angle of shooting is more than this it will not read correctly. This product will help players work on their pitching form by giving them feedback as to what changes are producing speed. |

High price for a so-so product |
I broke out the radar gun to check out my son's pitching speed. Out of 20 tries, I got one reading that was even close to accurate. He was recently clocked at 80 mph on a reliable Juggs gun, but the best I could get from this product was one reading of 73 mph. Now, even if he did throw it 73, why was I getting readings anywhere from 11 to 23 mph on the other 19? Operator error? Sure, but why isit so difficult to get the reading? It was a breeze on the Juggs gun.
In sum, highly inaccurate, difficult to get readings consistently (ANY kind of readings!), and a major disappointment. |

three for a reason |
|
i'm rating this a three as i have not yet used it. i suspect it will work perfectly, but i'm not certain. i do like the simplicity of the design, and my intent is to track the speeds in my condo complex. |
