Omron's HJ-151 Hip Pedometer is a great motivational tool to track your steps as you walk your way through the day, and towards greater fitness. The small device's simple operation is perfect for walking beginners, and it's a great tool to help you achieve a healthier, more active lifestyle. Whether your goal is to maintain or improve overall health, lose weight or get more energy in your daily life, physical activity is essential to staying healthy. At least 30 minutes of moderate exercise is recommended each day, and the HJ-151 pedometer separately displays the steps and minutes walked at a moderate pace. It also calculates calories burned and the distance traveled. The sleek and small HJ-151 simply clips to your belt before you head out for a walk. Or, wear it throughout your busy day to find out just how much walking you're doing in a typical day of work, errands, and play. Note that the HJ-151 must be positioned correctly; it must be horizontal to the ground in order for the unit to function accurately. The device counts your steps and then saves the information for up to seven days, letting you review a full week of exercise. The HJ-151 resets its internal step counter at midnight automatically so it's ready to go every morning. An easy-to-read large display also features a clock so you've always got a timepiece at your side. The HJ-151 is powered by a replaceable lithium battery (CR2032) that will last approximately one year when used for walking 10,000 steps a day. | Compare Omron Pedometers | | HJ-150 | HJ-151 | HJ-112 | HJ-720ITC | | Measurement | | - Steps

Great for Measuring Activity |
|
I like this pedometer because it is great for measing my activity during the day. I work at a desk for 12 hours a day and don't get nearly enough exercise. I like the construction of the pedometer. It is easy enough to use. I would highly recommend a leash. The leash is cheap and it will definitely save you pedometer. I had mines for a week and have looked down on at least 3 occasions to see my pedometer hanging from the leash. I would recommend this pedometer. The leash should be included, but it is not. |

spend a little more |

I bought it and it is working one day and not tracking my steps the next. I would spend a little more money and get a better one |

great pedometer |
I was looking for a simple, easy to use tool to help me take 10,000 steps a day. This pedometer was the answer.
I find that if my husband wears the pedometer and walks the same distance that I walk, he takes fewer steps. That is ok with me, as my goal is 10,000 steps and not any given mileage. Someone who is intersted in a more detailed report might want a different model, but for me, this one does what I need. |

Simply Perfect! |
This pedometer is by far the most perfect little device ever! I've owned numerous pedometers in the past and this one surpasses them all. It is inexpensive, simple to use, accurate and sturdy. If I could give every single person on a diet the Omron Aerobic Pedometer, I would. It is quite simply the perfect pedometer.

love it! Also buy a safety leash too! |
I love this little gadget. I find myself parking further away in parking lots and I tend to volunteer to "go get it". I'm adding steps every day and it keeps track of my walking which in it's self is a great motivator.
But! You will loose it if you don't buy a "safety leash for pedometer"
I bought one on Americancivilwar.com for $1.25. The leash comes with it's two clips just remove the plastic one and loop it through the hole on the top of the pedometer's clip. |
