Tested in 98 degree weather |
|
First we tried this inside the house, it is very quiet when it is on and it cooled to 45 degrees while empty. Then we took it on a field trip, we loaded it with 3 bottles of water, 1 that was cold and 2 at room temp, then put it in my car that had been sitting in the hot sun all day. We drove to 4 different stores, and turned off the car while we were in the stores, even sitting in a hot car under the blazing sun, it managed to keep the water cool enough to drink, when we got home after our errands the inside of the fridge measured at 60 degrees. Actual time in car, 3 hours, actual time Fridge was running approx 1 hour. High temp of the day here, 98 degrees. Temp inside fridge measured with a mercury thermometer (fridge magnet with built-in thermometer) not as scientific as a digital, but what we had on hand. |
