The monthly Proficient Motorcycling features have been shared by two of the most respected names in the business; David Hough, author of several best selling books for BowTie Publishing and now his protégé, Ken Condon, who has taken the reins these last few years. Regular contributors also include Glynn Kerr, the world's pre-eminant freelance motorcycle designer and former head of the International Motorcycle Design Association; Dr. Flash Gordon, author of Blood, Sweat and Gears, and America’s most read physician specializing in motorcycle-related medicine; and Dr. Gregory Frasier, the only rider to have officially circumnavigated the globe four times by motorcycle, provides columns on travel and long distance riding preparation; plus many expert riders and testers.
