A MAGAZINE THAT SETS ITSELF APART!!! |
An Argentine friend of mine introduced hello to me about ten years ago. This mag sets itself apart from others and I had no idea that it existed, being a magazine freak myself.
It did not take long for me to fall in love with this well crafted work, with it's excellent stories of celebrities every week; gorgeous recipes, and generally well written updates on things Hollywood, and whatever is happening in and the British movie land.
I encourage anyone who loves reading fresh material with glossy pages, to try this engaging magazine which I now buy every week. I love it!!!

HELLO MAGAZINE |
I ordered HELLO on Jan.10,2005 through Americancivilwar for my wife.She has not rec'd an issue since July,2005. Neither the magazine nor Americancivilwar has succeeded in restarting deliveries and compensating her for the missed issues. In view of the $266 subscription rate I find this to be irresponsble.

Fabulous Diverting Guilty Pleasure Fun |
Hello! Magazine has been my hidden little guilty pleasure for years. It is to People what the New York Times is to USA Today. And the best thing of all: Hello! is kind. There is never a mean spirited article or vicious comment on any of the celebrity scandals or controversies. Never. Everything is upbeat and respectful at all times.
There are photo and text articles on entertainment celebrities, worldwide royalty, and local British celebs we in the States haven't yet heard of. There is always an article on someone's new darling baby, and someone's new darling country home. Vicarious delights, all! The perfect bubble bath read at the end of a grueling week.
The plethora of large color photos is a treasure. And, madre de dios, they aren't ever touched up! Celebrities look...omigod... normal. They have pores, cellulite, and an occasional bad hair day. It's heartening.
Some compare this magazine to OK!, but the new US edition of OK! is about half the size. Don't fall for the hype. Get a subscription to Hello! and you won't be sorry. I donate mine to hospital waiting rooms after I've finished with them, and you should see the delight they give the stressed out readers! |

GREAT MAGAZINE! MUST BUY! JOY TO READ! |
This magazine is a much better read than PEOPLE or STAR.. There are more inside photos, and the magazine focuses on more International stars and more royalty than any other magazine. I first heard about this magazine through the BBC show "Absolutely Fabulous", where "Patsy" (Joanna Lumley) sits and reads HELLO! on a regular basis with her friend, "Edina" (Jennifer Saunders)
