An "OK" light, but flimsy. |
|
Item arrived quickly and I am pleased with the transaction, not so pleased with the product itself. Item was easily put together but not very secure or steady as the post the light sits upon is in 2 pieces and connected by plastic tubes that go inside the post(s). Sort've flimsy. Also, The light itself is not so bright. I looked for the plastic film but could not find one to take off. |

Finally a decent solar light! |
Quite simply this is the only solar powered light I've seen that is worth a damn. I bought one to try out (I have been disappointed with other solar lights) and was so pleased I ended up buying 5 more. While many solar lights glow, these ones actually illuminate. They are more expensive than some other garden lights but I feel they are well worth it. The stainless steel finish looks stylish and they actually work well.
It should go without saying that these solar lights need full sun for at least part of the day, so don't stick them in full shade and then wonder why they don't shine brightly. Also, solar lighting will never be as bright as installed lighting but you also won't have to hire an electrician. |
