The correct EST (Eastern Standard Time) has been preset at the factory, so just plug the clock in and adjust the time zone as necessary. In the case of a power interruption, the built-in Lithium battery maintains the correct time so you don't have to re-set the clock. When Daylight Savings Time changes take place in the spring and fall each year, there is no need to adjust the clock because the built-in calendar recognizes the dates and automatically makes the proper time adjustments. Dual Alarms with Alarm Indicator permits two separate wake-up times with individual wake-up settings and confirms that the alarm has been activated to turn on at the pre-set time. Choose your own snooze time instead of being held captive by the short time intervals of other snooze times. Each press of the snooze button adds an additional 10 minutes to your total snooze time for up to a full hour of uninterrupted sleep. This Sony clock radio is very functional and has great features. I love that it comes with a long-lasting lithium battery. The gentle alarm beep is the right volume for waking up without jarring me. It would be perfect if it had a few preset buttons for radio stations But what more could I realistically expect for $14.99, right? |

I love the dual alarm aspect of this radio alarm. It makes life much easier. It's nice to not have to set the time myself but for some reason it shows a different time than my cell phone. It's only a few minutes early. The brightness control and sleep control are also great. I totally recommend this one to anyone who wants a simple, functional alarm for a reasonable price. |

The alarm clock I owned before this I had for around 12 years. I was very particular when I went looking for a replacement. I looked at everything available out there and all different price ranges. I was a little reluctant when I saw this one because it had all the options I wanted, but it was so cheaply priced. I took a chance only because I trusted the name brand "sony". I received it and set it up right away. It was better than the clock I had before and just as reliable. The only thing I should have done is buy two of them. Allthough, I assume in another 10-12 years something else will be available. Do not hesitate to buy this great clock! |
