Product Description |
Star Wars Battlefront II improves upon the blockbuster multiplayer original with new space combat, playable Jedi, and never-before-seen environments straight out of final Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith film. The game features an all-new single-player experience that takes players through an epic, story-based saga where every action the player takes impacts the battlefront and, ultimately, the fate of the Star Wars galaxy. The sequel features improved flight control, complex space combat that allows players to board enemy capital ships and battle to take over flying command posts or sabotage the ship to be used against the other faction, increased total online player numbers, and memorable multiplayer encounters in 12 new locations. Online multiplayer action for up to 64 players on PC Windows (plus AI units). ESRB Rated T for Teen |

Battlefield 2 set in the Star Wars Universe |
I've never played any of the Battlefront games until now. The best way I could describe Battlefront 2 in one sentence or less is this: Battlefield 2 meets Call of Duty in the Star Wars universe. I found the singleplayer mode to be extremely scripted and limited in play similar to the COD series. I plowed through the campaign in less than a day. The galactic conquest mode gets very boring very quickly mainly because of all the conquest maps against the AI. Online play is the same as Battlefield 2, except you get Star Wars characters, vehicles, and weapons. I found myself playing the Clone War era characters more than the Galactic Civil War era. I never liked the Rebellion's uniforms, weapons, or vehicles. The replay potential is very high due to the flexible multiplayer and instant action modes.

Excellent game |
This game is basically the same as the first version, with improved graphics. It is just as much fun as the first one. |

just ok, pc controls cludgy |
the graphics are good, the storyline well worked but not very much fun to play and zero replay value. I don't understand all the raving reviews, like we're sooo honored to play such a cool game. Big deal it lacks what many others have - good player movement, but it is just ok. |

Battlefront 2 will work with Vista Business Edition |
I bought this on Friday, July 18. and received it an hour ago, installed it and it plays fine on my computer. I have Windows Vista Business Edition, but I don't know which Service Pack I have (I know little about computers). I haven't play much but the training portion and it is fun, though a little fustratining until I figured out that I was overlooking the simple solution (as usual). I give it 4 stars because I enjoyed the first Battlefront game and this one has several more features and modes, making it more enjoyable than the first. |

Star Wars Battlefront II |
This is a really great First-Person/Third-Person Shooter. Fun space missions, great actions and graphics. If you've played Star Wars Battlefront I you NEED to play II. Overall a fantastic game. |
