Don't Confuse This... |

...with the 3D Globe by National Geographic - which is very good. I don't have the slightest idea if this 3D Globe by DK is any good - because I couldn't install the program. The first thing the CD wanted to do was install something called Quick Time (a player like Flash). Since I already had Quick Time (from another CD fiasco), I didn't have to install it this time. But the result was the same: I couldn't install the DK 3D Globe. The CD also contained a History program, which I was able to install - but that's what I bought the software for. So, bottom line: stay away from this particular software (again, not to be confused with National Geographic 3D Globe) - and avoid Quick Time like the plague. |
