It's ok... |
|
This manga is for a very young age group, 8-12. The story is fun and follows the storyline of the first 3 Poke'mon games, Red/Blue/Green (Japanese). Though the story is full of plot holes and wondering what happened between events and chapter changes. I would buy this if your a Pokemaniac and avoid it if your not. |

Great read! |
|
This is a great selection of the manga. It's pokemon to the core, but differant enough from the TV series to keep even the hard-core fans interested. It's good to see a version of pokemon where 'Ash' is actually intelligent, and Brock isn't a complete perv... The one beef with this book, is that it isn't the complete series. It jumps from one story to the next with little warning, so everyone suddenly appears with Pokemon they previously didn't seem to have. Otherwise, a great read. Highly recommended! |

Pokemon Comic -- Good for Beginning Readers |
|
I bought this book, which happens to be in comic book format, for my 6-year-old son. I was looking for books with subjects that he was interested in to make him eager to read. I bought regular format books as well, but he is most interested in the comic format, even sounding out 3-4 syllable words that he finds within the pages. |

Pokemon Red |

My son loved this book. He's a big fan of Pokemon, but not a big fan of reading, but since it was Pokemon, he read it. And read it. And read it.. For once I had to yell at my son to turn off the light already, and put the book away!. A great book for 2nd graders. |
