Product Description
Years ago, after their blood brother ritual, Gage, Fox, and Caleb emerged from the woods, each with a piece of bloodstone. Now, it will become their weapon in the final fight against the demon they awakened. Winner take all...

Shared nightmares, visions of blood and fire, and random violence begin to plague the longtime friends and Quinn, Layla, and Cybil, the women bound to them by fate. None of them can ignore the fact that, this year, the demon has grown stronger feeding off of the terror it creates. But now, the three pieces of the bloodstone have been fused back together. If only they could figure out how to use it.

A gambling man like Gage has no trouble betting on his crew to find a way. And though he and Cybil share the gift of seeing the future, that s all they share. Were they to take their flirtation to the next level, it would be on their own terms, not because fate decreed it. But Gage knows that a woman like Cybil with her brains and strength and devastating beauty can only bring him luck. Good or bad has yet to be determined and could mean the difference between absolute destruction or an end to the nightmare for Hawkins Hollow.

Roberts does it again
This is the final book in the trilogy and was worth the wait. There were fewer surprises in this book than the others, but the ending was good.

Nope not this time...
Ok, so... Let me start off by saying I love Nora Roberts. She has to be one of my all time favorites to read, but this book was missing something (a lot of somethings) for me. At times it seemed like it wasn't even her work. Everything seemed forced to me; the story, the couples and the pulling of all the open ends together. In my opinion it was like she was trying to end this Trilogy the best (and quickest)way she could. So before I get nasty comments please consider I've never given this fine lady less than 3 Stars. Yes I was disappointed...Yes I had to force my way through this final (and much anticipated)book and yes I still love this great and historic author.

Awesome final chapter!
This is a great ending to the story. Nora Roberts always comes through with a good final chapter.

So So book.. Too much filler.. Spolier alert!
I had honestly expected Gage to have more of a story. It didn't turn out that way in the book. It was ok. I did alot of skimming becuase it seemed there was alot of filler and focused more on research and charts and maps and magicks and tarot cards. I wish we could have seen more of Gage interacting with his friends, etc. The story seemed to jump ahead and the fact all 3 girls are expecting at the same time.. no just didn't do it for me. I like how she incorporated the dog into many things in all her books and has his as part of the family, that's normal for today so that was good. I expected this book to be better but it wasn't.. The 2nd book was alright and the first was great. The best thing about this book is I like how she worked Gage and his father together. they didn't become friends and Gage didn't forgive, which he shouldn't, but he was able to express his thoughts and feelings and realize that he was wrong for what he had done. IT doesn't make up for what happened by any means, but it was nice to see it brought to light in the story.

Just didn't cut it for me too much.

Very predictable
For the first time my favorite author has let me down. This was a boring and predictable read from beginning to end. The plot established in the first of this trilogy was maintained to the point of figuring out the ending within two pages. Overall I was very disappointed.
