Editorial Reviews for  'Knuffle Bunny Too: A Case of Mistaken Identity'

Product Description
Trixie can't wait to bring her one-of-a-kind Knuffle Bunny to school and show him off to everyone. But when she gets there, she sees something awful: Sonja has the same bunny. Suddenly, Knuffle Bunny doesn't seem so one-of-a-kind anymore. Chaos ensues until the bunnies are taken away by Ms. Greengrove. After school, Trixie finally gets her beloved bunny back. But in the middle of the night, Trixie realizes something. She has the wrong bunny! Daddy comes to the rescue again as a midnight swap is arranged with the other bunny, the other little girl, and the other daddy. Needless to say, the daddies are not very happy. By the end of the story Trixie has her beloved bunny back, but she has also gained something new: her very first best friend. In the tradition of the Caldecott Honor-winner Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale , this is another heartfelt, hilarious picture book that children (and their parents) will love.

Customer Reviews for  'Knuffle Bunny Too: A Case of Mistaken Identity'

We read this every night!
My 2.5 year old daughter received this book as a gift and we have never read the first one. The story is wonderful, funny and cute and the illustrations are a very creative mix with real photography. My daughter has this book memorized now and reads it to me which is priceless. I'm getting her the first one for her 3rd birthday and I'm sure it will be a great addition to our home library.

Not *quite* as good as the first, but that's okay
Really, if you've read and liked the first, you'll probably like this one too.

I just have a single qualm about it. The layout of the first few pages makes it hard to read - I'm not sure where to break in with Trixie's chatter, that sort of thing.

And the midnight switching of the bunnies is a little contrived-looking.

But all that aside, it's (almost) as great as the original.

good book
This is a good book. My 16-month old loves it as much as she loves the first book (Knuffle Bunny). It is also delightful for parents too.

Loved the illustrations!
I loved the illustrations the best. I plan to purchase all of the Knuffle Bunny books.

A Great Follow Up
The presentation of this book is as great as the original book. It is a well written adventure tale with a conflict, an antagonist, and heros. The children's favorite part of the book beyond the happy ending was the mommy and daddy role-playing as robots. I'd recommend bundle purchasing both books.
