This is a classic book that will stay with this child for a lifetime. He will be reading this to his children and grandchildren |

My grandson loves books. He only has to hear the story once or twice then he can "read it to grandma". He has about 50 books already, but this one has moved into first place. It is a great choice for little book lovers and their grandparents! |

Thomas the Tank Book |

My Grandson loves Thomas the Train so buying the book has increased more time we spend together. He loves to sit on my lap and have me read to him. And the stories keep his attention and we love this book. |

Best Thomas Book We Have |
We got this book for my Thomas Fan two years ago and it's been a bedtime story read every single night since. It even goes on vacation with us.
It has original stories and art. And a nice blue ribbon to hold place. It's a well loved book in this house and none of us get tired of it.
A must for all Thomas Fans. |

A real draw at story time |
For Thomas fans this is a good resource of stories and excitement. I am the parent of three-year-old triplets (two girls and one boy) and all really enjoy these stories. (Our son loves the book while the girls just like it a lot.) The book has been very useful as a tool to help everyone settle down for story time. They are much more likely to come and listen quietly when a "Thomas Story" is part of story time.
We have not found the picture to text ratio to be a problem (as mentioned in some reviews). The children really enjoy looking ahead in the story to the next picture and trying to guess what is going to happen next. The book, however, may not be suitable for children much younger than three.
The stories are a little old fashioned in their vocabulary and presentation, but I think that that is part of the appeal of the entire Thomas franchise. The stories should probably be read in order (at least the first time through) since the later stories often refer back to some earlier occurrence.
The binding of the book appears to be good quality and the paper is heavier and more durable than in a typical book. There is even a ribbon to use as a bookmark. Overall, it makes a very nice package. |
