Product Description |
When a bus driver takes a break from his route, a very unlikely volunteer springs up to take his place-a pigeon! But you've never met one like this before. As he pleads, wheedles, and begs his way through the book, children will love being able to answer back and decide his fate. In his hilarious picture book debut, popular cartoonist Mo Willems perfectly captures a preschooler's temper tantrum. |

We Love the Pigeon! |
My daughter loves the Pigeon books. After receiving "Don't Let the Pigeon Stay Up Late", she gravitates to the Pigeon books each time we visit the bookstore. "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!" is a cute story which captures her attention & excites her to practice her reading skills. It's fun for the entire family & leaves us all smiling. |

Love that pigeon |
My teacher-daughter introduced me to Moe Williams, so I purchased this book for my granddaughter. She loves it and it cracks me up everytime I read it! Fun to read and marvelous illustrations. (I always root for the pigeon!) |

Great Book |
I really enjoyed this book. I also bought Out of the Nursery by Elizabeth Gauthier which is just amazing. |

No Fair |
Loved the book, 12 grandkids loved the book. Something I hear with that many Grandkids...No Fair. The Pigeon doesn't think it is fair that he can't drive the bus..he says "no fair" so we all got a kick out of it but Emma loved it best of all because she is the queen of No Fair. |

Too weird for my kids |
My kids just didn't get this book. There is no plot and the story (if you can call it that) is just too strange to enjoy. You don't feel sympathetic toward the pigeon, who seems to be talking to himself in a kind of psychotic/obsessive-compulsive rant. The illustrations are fun but I can't recommend this book when there are so many other wonderful children's books to be discovered. |
