Not So Good |
I was disapointed by this book. You could easily take it out of the series and not miss it. I will say that Applegate had a knack for inventing strange new species. The book starts when Jake and the others follow the Visser's new ship: The Sea Blade into the ocean. But the Visser and the Animorphs end up discovering a new species underwater that plans on destroying the "surface dwellers." They have to join the Visser if they wish to survive, but who wants to do that?
I would recommend this book if you would like to find out about the new species of alien, or if you are a huge Animorph fan, if not ignore it, and I don't think you'll miss it. |

Animorphs - The Mutation #36 |
|
In this book, the group turns into Orcas and search for the Sea Blade. When they finally catch up to it, they BABAAAAM into it!! They get injured so they have to keep on morphing and remorphing. Then the ship goes down, but they echolocation it and it's not sunken. I'll leave the rest for you to find out. I am 9 years old and this is a GREAT book!!! I REALLY think you should buy it. |

|
In this book, the Animorphs morph orcas to try and destroy the Sea Blade, a Yeerk sub. They find an 1812 ship, an American WWII PT boat, a WWII Japaniese Carrier with two planes on the flight deck, U-boats and Greek Galeanons. Each ship has stuffed humans in positions that make them look as if there doing there jobs. What will happen next? Read the book! |

Animorphs+Orcas=a great book. |
|
I love the Animorphs. and when i read this book it was great! the kids morphs into Killer whales (Orcas) and go under water in search of a ship that the Yeerks (the animorphs main enemy)are searching for too. then while the animprphs are down there they meet another weird spices. Which they do some bad things to people (like discting humans and "stuffing" them). then after awhile the wierd spices will start to attack the Animorphs...and the Yeerks too! But will the Animorphs allie with the Yeerks? i'll leave that for you to fine that out on your own. |

Animorphs The Mutation |
|
This book starts out slow, it has the usually story line, good vs evil. Except in this book, the heroes are kids instead of adults, and they can transform into any animal they see fit. They are trying to find the Pemalite ship, a ship with very advanced technology from another world, they need to get to it before the Yeerk does (the evil guy). With the Pemalite ship, the Yeerk could take over earth in a matter of days, so it is imperative that they find the ship and dispose of it. It is hidden deep under the ocean, so the kids transform into whales to reach it. As they are searching they discover an ancient civilization of fish men, called the Nartecs. The Nartecs, too, are looking for the ship. But as they are searching, they have to battle the Visser 3 of the Yeerk, and his dangerous ship, the Seablade. |
