Great "tales" |
|
Great motorcycle tour articles. Nothing technical, just good writing of adventures the author has taken on a motorcycle. If only I could write as well. Recommended for touring motorcycle people. Crotch-rocket riders will not understand the concept. |

A Glass of Wine for the Man With the Beret |
In the mid-1990s at a motorcycle show in Kalispell, Montana, I had a chance to visit for several minutes with Clement Salvadori and have been a fan ever since.
This collection of his monthly columns in Rider Magazine is so much fun - not meant to be read straight through, but pick and choose ... and savor! His stories are not unlike many that riders would have of their own, but no doubt told in a better way.
This book joins my collection of books to read bits and pieces of when winter keeps me from riding here in the middle of the country. |
