It's Like Having a Tiny Consultant in Your Hand |
I'm relatively new to Salesforce.com and I've found this book to be a huge help. At my organization, we did not hire any consultants to assist us in customizing Salesforce.com for our needs. This book has been by my side as a handy resource to the questions that I've had as I get comfortable with Salesforce.com Regardless of your technical proficiency, this book is a good resource to those look to become more comfortable with Salesforce.com. |

A solid book for someone getting started on SalesForce |
This is a great book on SalesForce in the tried and true '- For Dummies' format. Covers a lot of the functionality of SalesForce in a well laid out manner. Between this book and "maximizing your sales with Salesforce.com" you should have everything you need on hand in your house/office to get you around SalesForce like a pro. |

Salesforce for Dummies |
Good overview but lacking in detailed usage instructions. Need to have step by step walk throughs because the online help feature is very confusing. Also needs to reference more clearly what version of Salesforce and modules are needed for certain scenarios. |

A Review Of The Reviews |
I couldn't help noticing that there are 3 Five Star raving reviews of this book posted on the same day from Feb 6 2005 (Strange considering there are only 6 in total). I'm sorry but that is too coincidental making them suspect and of no use to someone like me who just wants an honest opinion from an objective reader. |

Wouldn't recommend the Kindle Edition |
If you're considering this title in the Kindle edition - think twice. There are numerous screenshots which are simply too small to read. Text can be enlarged on the Kindle, but images cannot. Stick with the paper edition. |
