I must have read the wrong book because frankly, I totally disagree with the masses. I waited months and months for this book anticipating a great story only to be seriously let down. This book just didn't have the same writing style as the others and the main characters lacked that certain "something". It was difficult to get into Conrad and Neomi. And even though the supporting characters were appealing, the main characters were unexciting. Simply not a good book and certainly not a keeper. Unfortunately, that's the thing about series...they [books] can't all be good!!! I'll just have to wait for Murdock's story and hope it was as good as Sebastian's and Wroth's |

I really love her supernatural romances. They never fail to entertain - which is what reading is for me. I'm not looking to be wowed by symbolism or drama. Cole's books are full of fantastic circumstances and hot men. Who needs more? |

I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED BOOK 4 OF KRESLEY COLES SERIES..
CONRAD WAS A VAMPIRE WHO WENT ROGUE..AND INSTEAD OF TERMINATING HIM..HIS BELOVED BROTHERS HAD ENOUGH LOVE IN THEIR HEART TO TRY AND SAVE HIM IN THE HOME OF A GHOST NAME NEOMI WHO ALSO FELL IN LOVE WITH HIM AND HELPED HIM IN HIS SPEEDY RECOVERY!
I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK..
KEEP IT COMIN KRESLEY!

Great Read, Couldn't put it down |

I'm going to make my review of this book short. Great read in my opinion. It kept my interest the whole way through, the characters were well developed and its a sweet romance. I'm looking forward to the next book. Even if you haven't read her books, thats all right you'll be able to understand whats going on. But totally her other stuff, its great. Mrs. Cole leaves the reader wanting more and guessing, doesn't get any better than that. Go get this book, you'll enjoy it with hot chocolate. |

I will keep this as short as possible since everyone who rated this book with 5 stars has basically echoed my own sentiments. Kresley Cole has fast become one of my favorite authors, and I will buy her books sight unseen. As with all her books, Dark Needs at Nights Edge started with a bang and kept me interested all the way through as I anxiously turned the pages to see if a mad vamp and a ghost could develop any sort of romantic relationship. I mean really, could a crazy vampire on the razor's edge of complete madness be sexy and oh so compelling? Could the heroine, who has no real body be enticing and intriguing? Definitely, when Ms. Cole is the author! Once again, I was more than pleased with the ending-- the hero and the heroine gave each other their love, a reason, and the means to truly live. The premise for other books in the series was firmly set and leaves me waiting for the next one! Splendid!!! |
