Don't even think about it |

This is a review of the Audio Book version of this title. Simply put, it stinks. I was a T.A. at univeristy level communications production, and have heard student sound projects with more production value than this audio book. The multiple voices are poorly cast for a husband and wife duo who have arguments that aren't realistic or helpful. He sounds gay, she sounds like a materialistic bimbo. Each time they cut to an interview segment of Nierenberg, there is a constant buzz that is noticable. Poor recordings. If it had been a series of records of Nierenberg speaking, it would have been more informative. Although some of the information was useful, it is few and far between, and the low production value of the cassette takes attention away from that. It is obvious that Nierenberg knows his stuff, but this production was not a great communication tool for him. They may have gotten my dollars, but at least now they won't get yours if you are reading this. Two words: Stay Away! |
