Editorial Reviews for  'Nauti Boy (The Nauti Trilogy, Book 1)'

Product Description
First in a trilogy that crosses the boundaries of erotic fiction- from the bestselling author of Megan's Mark.

Too weak to resist young Kelly Benton's attempts at seduction, Rowdy Mackay left home eight years ago. Duty as a U.S. Marine put a safe distance between temptation and the nubile Kentucky vixen. Now he's back home and ready to engage in the kind of erotic games that have earned him and his two cousins a Nauti-boy reputation in three counties.

Once it was Kelly's dream too-to feel the heat of the boy she desired. But an attack from a stalker still on the prowl has left Kelly terrified of a man's touch. Now as fear and desire converge, Rowdy fights to save her from the deadly threats of a stranger, to rid her of her demons, and to satisfy a hunger more powerful than either can imagine.

Not my cuppa tea
I picked this book up innocently enough after a recommendation from a bookstore employee. I was looking for a new erotic romance author. Foolishly I didn't read the reviews beforehand. I thought that perhaps from reading the back cover blurb that Leigh's romances were somewhat similar to Lori Fosters. Well, they're not.

I don't like menage in my romance books. Three men sharing one woman does not turn me on. And I don't understand why a loving relationship would need to look outside itself to be sexually gratifying -but thats just me. Not romantic IMHO.

What disturbs me the most is the fact that M/M/M/F is NOT mentioned anywhere on the book cover or back. And thus I feel a bit duped by buying Naughti Boys. I want to know what I am paying for! When will publishers get with the program?

So enough of my harping, if you don't mind a little menage (actually it was very mild though I hated it) then you might want to check this one out. For others, like myself, there are plenty of really good M/F only erotic romances to read out on the market today -see Sylvia Day & Sarah McCarty.

Not what I expected
This was my first book by this author. I had thought that it would be really hot, but it did not quite hit the mark. I also thought that for a woman who had been sexually assaulted, she recovered pretty quickly. It just seemed like there was not any real transition time. I also felt like they kept dancing around the idea of a threesome without coming out and saying that they were going to have one or not.

A MUST READ!
I disagree with the negative reviews. This was a GREAT book!!! You could really feel the love between Rowdy and Kelly. I couldn't put the book down. I read it in just a few hours. YOU MUST read this book before Nauti Nights!! The sex scenes were very erotic. Rowdy is a very experienced guy and has loved Emily since her Mom married his Dad. He knows he can't have her until she becomes of age, so he joins the marines along with his cousins. He thinks the distance will help because he can't keep himself from touching her. When his tour ends he comes home to find out that something bad has happened to Kelly(she is still a virgin). He helps her through some tough times. That's all I'm going to say for now, but this is a very romantic, erotic book! I liked the second book Nauti Nights too, but this one was so much better!!! Can't wait to read the third book.

Erotica at it's best
I started this book in the morning and finished it by dinner that night. Lora Leigh writes an interesting fast read. Great personalities and stories.

If I could give it 1/4 a star... (Spoilers included)
After reading Hidden Agendas by Lora Leigh, which was eh, I was intrigued enough to pick up this title. The book description was interesting... and totally misleading.

The basic story seems innocuous enough: boy wants girl, thinks he's she's too young, goes away, then returns years later to fulfill their fantasies. However, there are quite a few issues with this book that bother me on a very intrinsic level.

Issue#1: Rowdy and Kelly are step-siblings. I'm sorry, but to me this reeks of incest. Even if they are not related by blood, they are still siblings.

Issue#2: Kelly has just survived a near-miss sexual assault, where a man broke into her house and attempted to sodomize her. So the first thing Rowdy does after finding out about this is make a heavy-handed pass at her. And she is okay with it. Okay, maybe I'm not a licensed therapist, but this doesn't seem right to me.

Issue#3: Rowdy - even though he loves Kelly - has always planned on sharing her with his two cousins, with whom he has pleasured many ladies. Maybe I haven't read enough Lora Leigh, because I've recently found out that a number of her books have menage themes, but if you're not expecting it, it's a huge shock, and there really should be some warning in the book description of the sexual context of this book.

As if all this weren't enough, there's supposed to be some suspense in this book featuring the man who attacked Kelly, but it really gets drowned out in all of the emotional turmoil and excessive badly written sexual scenes. If you're looking for a romance, look elsewhere. This is just bad erotica with little to no real chemistry.
